I'm reading the manual to buy some oil, but they tell me there are two grades for the 1.2 80Kw TSI

One for variable service intervals: VW504 00 and one for fixed service intervals: VW502 00.

How do i know which one is the one to get? 

So is your car on fixed or variable servicing?

buy 504.00, it's a higher spec than 502.00 and usually what gets used on services by most dealers.
