EHA gearbox ratios

Featured Replies

Can anyone confirm the right set of ratios for an EHA vRS box, please. I've found two sets on the internet, which are quite close in terms of gear clusters but one has a longer final drive than the other.

1: 3.3, 1.944, 1.308, 1.029, 0.837, final drive 3.824

2: 3.3, 1.944, 1.308, 1.034, 0.838, final drive 3.647

The EHA on the car feels like the second set of ratios, with (calculated) 80mph coming up at about 3300rpm.

To my (limited) knowledge the EHA is the longest of the 5 speed boxes available.

Thanks for the useful document. In the end, I plumped for an ENJ to go with the DBZ that came with the spare engine. As well as the EHA that's in the car! There's virtually naff all difference between the boxes; at 7000rpm and with the 225/45R17 tyres that I use, 4th and 5th gears of the EHA gearbox do 1mph more than the ENJ/DBZ boxes. I don't envisage myself getting to 170mph anyway. Ever. Probably.
