Well, ordered my second vRS in 2 years !! Mine's got 52k on it, since June 2004. It's never let me down, nothing's broken on it, just goes in every 10k for service. Comfortable, speedy (thanks to AMD) I couldn't think of what else I'd want at my age (62 !!!!).

Jewsons in Oxford offerred a good price for March 06 plate, if mine's <60k. They've always been first class with servicing etc, and the first one was ready as promised.

Same spec, Xenons, Cruise, Black, but ESP in place of multi CD changer. And a visit for bit more thrust when well run in:thumbup:

Just have to Swissol it, and back to normal again.......... Can't wait !!

Yup, they're on both rear windows just above body line !

Can I ask if you got a reasonable deal Roger?

SWMBO does a fair few miles in hers and we are unsure of the most cost effective time to change.

Furby VRS's aren't sold exclusively to people under 30 you know.

I've met two briskoda members driving then that were considerably older than that (no offence intended to either of them of course) so 62 shouldn't be cause for alarm

That's what I love about the Fabia v/RS - it appeals to almost everyone.

Yup, really really hand on heart & hope to die !!!! And still fly and train on Airbus aircraft full time !! Went for the ESP option in case of any senile moments........

Had the "treatment" from AMD, and will do the same on the new one. 130bhp seems so tame otherwise.......... :D
