Fabia remote locking reset code

Featured Replies

I have lost the main key and fob and am therefore having to use the spare key and fob that I have not used before. The main fob worked just fine, but the sparewill not activate the central locking when the button is pressed. I dutifully followed the manual's instructions (press any button, then unlock the car using the key within one minute of pressing the button) to no avail. I have just replaced the fob battery and still no joy.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Probably will need to be recoded to the dashpod either at the dealer or using VAG-com

How do you do that via VAG-COM? Mark is listed as being in SE, so if it's simple to do, I could have a go?

(Thats if you can't wait for the dealer Mark)

Have you tried unlocking the car... holding the key in open till windows are fully down then locking the car (holding locked) until windows are fully up then hold in locked for a thurther 20secs aftere this???

My dealer done this when he changed the battery to re-set it

Skoda use the 4 digit code which is on the original plastic keyfob supplied with the car. If not then you have to ask the dealer to get it.

Thats the procedure to reset 'one touch' windows.

If Mark is happy for me to follow those instructions, I'll do it for you. Let me know, I'm near Gatwick.
