Steering wheel badge change?

Featured Replies

In a moment of weakness I ordered up a set of the "Vauxhall" badges from Superskoda a few days ago to replace my wormed ones.

That'll be the front, back and wheels all tidied up.

But the steering wheel badge, and I suppose the key badge, will be the old green ones still.

I really don't care about the key despite the taunting of my son with his Citigo key, but I was wondering if the steering wheel badge could be changed?

Sorry can't help you with that but it's interesting that in all Skoda advertising they use a form of logo that has a centre green image rather than black. I do agree it looks very much like a Vauxhall badge.

Doesn't not look like it, the parts book does not show a separate badge.

That one doesn't show the airbag lid at all... might be interchangeable though

Would you really want a seperate badge deploying at your face?

The badge is part of the cover over the airbag and is designed to seperate in a specific way.

15 is the airbag.

Doesn't the airbag have a flippy up cover (let me know if I get too technical)?

The cover is part of the airbag and it splits open when the bag deploys.

That'd be a no then. Somewhat different to my old Fabia.

I'll forget that idea then

Thanks

All Skoda airbags have operated in a similar way.

I can't have been paying attention then. No great surprise...
