Hi,

Just joined the forum, looks to be an excellent resource. My name is Lee and im 19 from Hertfordshire. I was recommended to come here a while back by Richard (don't know his username, drives a gold fabia tdi) and today decided to join up.

My current car is a Seat Arosa 1.4Tdi. My main reason for joining here is it seems the most knowledge regarding tuning the PD engine exists over here, i find a lot of confusion on other forums and my head hurts when I try and work things out!

Currently my engine is fitted with an analouge Dragon Tuning module and a BMC air filter. This has given me a rolling road proven 90bhp and 173lb/ft torque. However, my car just went into the dealer and i removed the tuning module to be safe, and have been driving around the last few days without it and now im not sure if i prefer it with it on or not. Also i do have to worry about what the box is doing to the engine, surley if a resistor gave such an increase of power for such little outlay VW would have done this to the engine originally?

Anywho I will probally be doing a post soon asking questions regarding tuning this engine, so I will leave them till then.
