Anyone know somewhere i can get a throttle body gasket at a reasonable price? Cant use tps local to me as im not trade and the stealers want daft money for one. Thanks.

A sheet of gasket paper from motor factors, I paid €2 for one a few weeks ago.

Use a ball hammer to "cut" the shape out, videos all over YouTube

Break out the cornflakes box then I guess, but £5 is hardly steep lol.

Buy some gasket paper and make it yourself. I bought a 30x30cm sheet for £1.70 

If you're still interested Mcinvrs, I've just bought one from my local VW dealer (it's closer than Skoda!) £3.42 all in. Part number 028-129-748.

TPS were supposed to be allowed general customers to purchase parts. I guess it's a regional thing. I don't have any issues getting parts out of either Kidlington or Swindon.

 

Always worth turning up in person and seeing if they'll set up an account. Is what I did.
