Oil temperature display missing

Featured Replies

For the life of me I can figure out what I have done to completely disable the oil temperature display.

I noticed that the car was set to two yearly service but the dealer said it needs annual / 15,000km servicing to maintain warranty (that's what they say here in Aus), so I went abou changing the adaptations to suit and as a result the temperature display went. Looking at the debug log I have reversed everything I did and still no joy.

Anyone know what mcodeing / adaptation combinations are to enable oil temperature display?

I have seen where some people have the temp display and only showing --- but I don't even get that.

Covered in your other thread on the same issue.

i dont see the adaptation mentioned in other topic.

attached is my adaptations map .adpmap-17-5E0-920-757.CSV

You need to recode the dash cluster, not adaptations.

Look for TOG in the listings and enable it.

Well the dealer has had the car for a few times and had the car connected to the mother ship and they cant work out whats going on.

on a side note yesterday morning went out to the car and it was locked and the RHS windows were both down and the sunroof was wide open, car still locked

My Yeti was on variable service and I had it changed to fixed. The oil temp display is still there.   I wonder if the service set up was change to QG0, whch I believe would disable the oil temp reading. I have a feeling mine was reset to QG2. Perhaps Tech1e could confirm or poo-poo that theory?
