So i had my Fabia detailed!  I arrived at ChrisRs house at around 10am to have my Fabia detailed today and just wanted to share how well it looks for it! An awesome job done, really nice bloke, very informative and down to earth guy. It hadnt been touched really since the last time i took it to him back in September/October time, so the amount of tar and contaminates had plenty of time to build up! Heres what we did... 

 

1. Wheels treated with Iron Out and Power Maxed Wheel Cleaner

2. Wheel arches and lower areas applied with Bilt Hamber Surfex (Diluted)
3. Car snow Foamed with Power Maxed Snow Foam
4. Power washed off
5. Washed with a Dooka Wash Mitt and Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo 
6. Door shuts applied with Valetpro Citrus Pre Wash and Power washed
7. Car Power washed
8. Light drying with a cloth before applying PowerMaxed Tar Off and Gyeon Fe remover to lower and rear areas...extra tar remover to the wheels...very bad with Tar
9. Car rewashed, paintwork then clayed via Farecla Clay Mitt......Powerwashed again.....Then dried via Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth drying towels
10. Out with the Flex VRG polisher and polished the car via a Sonax Medium pad and Power Maxed Finishing Polish..The combination worked very well indeed!
11. Car waxed with Power Maxed BTCC Show Wax
12. Glass cleaned inside and out
13. Door shuts and Alloys dressed with Sonax BSD Quick Sealant
14. Tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance Tyre dressing
15. Wiper panel applied with Autoglym rubber and plastic dressing
16. Finally....Finished by a light coat of Art de Shine NGPS QD and buffed to a high shine

 

and of course, no story is complete without pictures! 

 

 

 

 

 

The results speak for themselves! I'm a fussy bugger and i'm well chuffed. I'll certainly be going back when the time comes. Highly recommended!
