I changed the discs and pads on a 2011 octavia vrs using this excellent write up of a mk5 gti.

some spline key as guys write. I did it recently but no idea about size - I've got whole set of tools.

 

TRW system suppose to have spline bolts for carrier. Doesn't matter what size...only carrier size is different.

 

While you are at it...take off that useless dust cover, which only overheats brakes :-D
