Hi, I've got an annoying rattling on the front right side of the suspension on my 2012 octavia. Currently in the dealers, all suspension bushes have been deemed to be ok. If I go over a pothole in the Rd it rattles, but if I'm braking & hit a bump, I don't hear nothing !!! Did see on another post about the possibility of pads rattling in calliper. I'm at my wits end with this fkn noise.

All genuine parts.

 

Same noise,under 30 it rattles/clunks over it squeeks.

 

I think it's track rod end.

 

But it may be one of the above in your case if not replaced.

Reviving an old topic. A rattle in front nearside with exactly these symptoms on my 09 Octavia VRS Estate 2.0 diesel. Turns out it was just the pads. Re-greased them or can try alternative pads. It was a very concerning rattle but glad it was a simple fix.
