Just checking, sick of reading through old threads and can't find the answer, all just "light not coming on"

Anyway, I turn my ignition on, everything lights up normal, battery light comes on and stays untill I start the engine and goes off.

I thought the battery light used to light up and go off with all the other lights without starting the engine.

What does yours do?

Yours is behaving normally.

Battery light won't go off until it sees a charging voltage.

Nope, no problems at all just when i had the ignition on and noticed the battery light was still lit up i thought it used to go out...
