Vrs. Into third year of ownership + good dealer

Featured Replies

So yesterday dropped the vrs into Skoda for its MOT, did I it at a dealer so if anything big failed ( which I doubted it would) then warranty would cover before it runs out next week. Had a mare disconnecting my hid's. All came out ok but getting the standard bulbs back in , for some reason was not happening, it's these stupid twist ones you can't see what you are twisting in to and they just would not stay put. So I ended up leaving the living in the bulb holder and drove to the garage.

Get there explain and he says mechanic will sort before MOt. So I go for a wander, come back 2 hours later, cars all passed, no issues at all, so runs through invoice, says what they done, done the bulbs free, done a health check too and no issues, no recalls or updates needed oh and we have washed and vacuumed the car for you so it's out the front. And the Bill for this ,,,,,,,,,,£39. !!!

Really really can't rate Canterbury Skoda highly enough, excellent service, was not expecting all that at an MOT.

Now to sort the extended warranty out

makes a nice change!

Had 2 M.O.Ts on my Monte at main dealer, left in hids passed no problem,

Are hids not road legal then? I thought they where

Got mine MOT'd at a Skoda dealer in Jan and passed with flying colours, no mention about them what so ever.

They always comment in service, next time I will ask, just assuming worst, the ballasts are still in I just removed the bulbs and swapped to halogen so no major headache to sort on Tuesday when I have a day off
