I took it out for a spin, as you do, and couldn't honestly tell it apart from the Honda in terms of performance - just slightly more body roll which will be fine for my dear old Ma. The killer in the end? Saving

Nice little car the Micra, someone I work with has one which I sometimes have to move (car parks a bit tight).

Theres lots of room in there for such a small car, nice and airy. The controls are light, just right for a little town car, colours nice too (dark met blue). If I had to recommend a small car the Micra would defo be on list.

This one is the lighter Coral Blue - more "girlie" but I never felt embarrassed driving it. Was OK even for me.

Differences I did notice was much more twist stalk controls - lights twist on indicator stalk, as do the rear fogs - And the right indictaor twists for the front & rear wipers, not move up and down - I think front & back still washed/wiped screens.

I'm going to have to learn more about it, but it seems a good car for the money. Now to find some 18s for it.

Found some crap on ebay but it was stuff I can get from the dealer - car mats at £22 all in on Ebay - £17.45 at dealers, etc etc. Seem to be 15" OEM alloy wheels too, which I might get her once she passes. Not going to have her rubbing wheels whilst learning. :grumpy: Can see myself buying 4 wheeltrims for it instead.

Forget the mats, shes gona need a Garmin street pilot i3;)

Yeah, now you say it, she is bloody USELESS at navigating - even around her own home town.

Hopefully, like me, she'll try and explore / learn the roads even after she's passed. It seems to learn where to go anywhere nowadays, it helps to be a driver.
