Buffer pads

Featured Replies

Looking at machine polishing a few bits on my octy don't have a clue about which to get mind what's everyone recommend

I think a lot of people use the HEX Logic pads (Chemical Guys)

It depends what kind of state, swirl, scratches, marks etc...your car is in! to determine what type of colour HEX pads to use.

Seeing that you have not mentioned this, its kind of hard to help you out as regards to what pads to use!

But hopefully this might help you out.

It's a 07 plate so the odd scratches and marks just want paintwork a little better

I would try a white & green pad especially as its ideal for just wanting paintwork a little better & more, worst case you could try an orange pad but that has more cutting strength rather than a better finish compared to a green pad.
