Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm having a little trouble getting a connector/adapter for my parrot ck3300 and Stream HU.

I found the folowing this picture.. which looks very similar to the quadlock on the skoda..

What I'm looking for is the connector that fits into the bottom left of the quadlock as you look at it in the picture.

I know johnnyc has posted some part numbers, but my local skoda dealer doesn't understand part numbers ;-) and told me to try maplin, which is probably my next stop.

If anyone knows where this part can be sourced.. please let me know I need to get moving on this proj......

Hmm. Is it the same design as the blue plug, ie little pins? If so its the green one you need. I posted the part number in a different thread.

I'll try and find it !!

The one that I think you need is:

If they are Skoda part numbers then surely they should be on dealers system  , From Johnny's post - Skoda Part 3B7035447B (12 Pin Connector housing for Stream/Audience radio) - Skoda Part 000979003A (Connector inserts for housing c/w cable)

Come on, keep up at the back. :D

It took them an age to find it when I wanted the part. They said they couldn't find it, but I made them look harder. Its not on the radio or dash pages, but mixed in amongst the loom stuff.

I really can't understand why they didn't fit it as standard for the sake of £3.18. That would hardly cover the delivery of the item to the dealers.

Can they not just type in the number you give them rather than searching for it  surely the system ain't that bad

I didn;t have the number when I had mine. I had to get them to trawl through the computer looking for the bit.

Thanks for all your replys,

After reading your posts I decided to get in touch with skoda again and this time insist the part numbers exist. Eventually the parts were found by doing a look up in a different database  (the guy on the phone was very helpful and spent some time searching) the only downside is I have to wait until next Friday to get them and they have no idea of the cost yet.....

I had been quoted €65 for the same peice from a auto electrician and though it was way to steep.

I might take some pictures of them when I get them and post them here......

If it's any use folks, VW use the same part No.s as Skoda for this and the parts are identical. You'll maybe pay a few pence more but they are probably more likely to have the parts in stock anyway. Just don't tell them it's for a Skoda as in my experience they get snotty.
