Can you check if your map sensor on top intercooler pipe across engine has screws holding it in, I find it hard to believe it's just held in with clips, this is my wife's new polo

It's exactly the same in mine. Does look like it should have screws in it though!

Seems strange but every library photo on google images shows them with no screws in, seems strange that a pressurised intercooler pipe has the map sensor held in will two clips

My mk2 105 tsi has no screws either
