Elegance Trim

Mainly the seats, do they have lumbar support and what does everyone think of them?

Any other info on the spec would be useful as well as a search hasn't thrown up anything specific.

Have you checked the downloadable sales brochures on the Skoda UK web site? :D

Chris

Are we talking about the Mk1 octavia?

They are pretty comfortable ,but nothing special

I may well be being exceptionally dim but having looked at the brochure I can't see any mention of lumbar support, or many details about the seat adjustments at all other than height?

Surely some models must have lumbar support?

Mk 1 Elegance. Yes, lumbar support. 2 wheels on the outer side of the seat - bottom one rake, top one adjusts the lumbar support band. In and out, but not up or down.

But who would want the lumbar support at anything other than full strength?

A freak like me, the lumbar support on my MKIV Golf's Recaros is set just over mid way and I find them very comfortable.

edit to add: thanks for that info, other than the poor headlights (why no xenons even as an option on a 4x4 all weather vehicle????) and the bad stereo it's looking like the 4x4 is a real possibility. Leaving me at least 6 grand over the price of S3 or TT for modifications and a holiday somewhere warm.
