Hi I'm New to this site so not really sure how it works.

Basically here for a bit of advice my octavia has recently started making 3 beeps after setting of there is no warning lights on when this happens and the car doesn't drive any differently. Also recently the engine management light has started coming on its not blinking its just staying on then after so long will turn off again doesn't drive any differently when the light is on.

Any advice would be appreciated like to add its a 07 1.9tdi

It can signal a few different issues, the EML (Engine Management Light) will have logged a fault code which is almost certain to be related to the beeps.

 

You will need to get the car scanned to read the codes.

 

You aren't leaving the handbrake on though are you!?

Thanks will the car have logged the codes with the light turning on and off. No the handbrake is definitely been off

Just been to the garage was the glow time module why the eml was on
