considering re map and boost controller

Featured Replies

i had my octy rs superchipped nearly a year ago and am now considering a remap and boost controller as i ve been told more gains could be achieved this way. However i ve also been told that i may not be able to get the re map without getting a new ecu because of the superchip. Does anyone know otherwise or am i relegated to buying a new ecu? all help, advice appreciated.

Superchip replace the EEPROM I believe so, you would have to have the EEPROM replaced again for a remap. Or if you have the orginal EEPROM have that wacked back in a OBD download on top.

I know Jabba can do this...and I 'm sure other tuners can as well.

Would be done as part of the remap.

I've still got the original chip that was in my vRS -- if it's any use to you let me know
