I live in Trinidad, in the hot and sunny Caribbean, and the other day I noticed that pretty much ALL four door seals in my 2002 Octavia are ungluing themselves from the plastic surround. The passenger side seal is the worst, with almost the entire B-piller edge unglued. All the other seals have at least one corner that has unstuck itself.

Has this happened to anyone else? What would be the best glue to use to restick the rubber to the plastic?

I also noticed that the grey fabric door trim is also ungluing itself from the armrest on the driver's side! Two nice air pockets in the trim now.

I spoke to two other Octavia drivers who have the SAME problem that I do.

Sounds like all that hot and sunny weather (you don't know how lucky you are ) is affecting the glue.......not sure what to suggest really ............try asking the dealer .....I am sure it can.t be the first time it has happened and he may know a cure
