How to remove.......

Featured Replies

How do the vents come out of the dash? I'm talking about the main front and side ones.

Jason do you know :D I cant seem to find it when I've searched but I'm sure it's been covered before?

Thanks all

Mike

Cloth covered screwdriver (flat one) They prise out - don't worry about the way the dash kind of compresses as you do it. For the middle one you need to disconnect the hazard switch once it's free. :)

Brill. I've been meaning to do this as the drivers side vent has stiffened up

Thanks again

WHAT fabia? Any more details? Kinda need some bits. ;)

it's only a 1.4 I think which is a shame! But I'm always about breakers looking for bits let me know what your looking for and if I find something I'll give you a shout mate!

Engine tray and sunvisors (light grey) mate, seriously! :P See if they'll ship if I pay them direct? If you inspect first for damage, please?

It's a heavy frontal so I doubt the engine under tray will be any good, I'll check both for you and let you know. If they wont post them I'm sure if you want them I could sort you out ;)

I'll give you a PM tomorrow

OK - might be surprised with the engine tray as it shouldn't really suffer too much in a full frontal unless the car mounted whatever it hit. :D But yeah the visors are a must as mine are FUBAR'd since the conversion - Need the clips in the roof intact mainly.

Ok no problems, if you want PM me your mobile and I'll give you a buzz when I'm there.

If you get this message before you go.... i'm after a leather gear k-nob if it happens to be an elegance

Mike you can also push the centre ones out from behind with the Radio removed. Might make it a bit easier if you find them stiff to get out.
