Hi all, i acually own a fabia mk2 but i'm trying to liven up the interior. One of the things i want to do is get the side and centre air vents that have the silver frame, i believe the roomster has these and they fit the fabia. Had no luck trying to get these from skoda. So very unlikely but does anyone have a set, or does anyone know where i can purchase them from

I think silver air vents were limited to the Scout.

 

I didn't like them - mainly because of their reflection on the windscreen at night.

Hi James, I have these on my Roomster in "2" trim, damned nuisance the reflections they cause; you have to train your eyes to look through and beyond it; unsure if polarising clip-on shades help, must check on my next week's trip over to Derbyshire and on into south Cheshire, as I have a pair of these that fit onto my varifocal spectacles.

 

So I would advise don't bother!

They are properly cheap and nasty, I think I'd rather have black ones in my Scout

Found out they were supplied for a version of the fabia called 'sport', they don't look that bright that they'd be distracting

Assume you're after centre console and each side?

I may have a set in the garage, but have a feeling slats OT mechanism is broken on one, but easy enough to transplant from the ones you'd be removing.

My cars back at the dealers for a couple of days getting a wheel sorted as the previous owner had curbed it, will send photos once i have it back, they are mint. Any chance of a photo of yours? I see alot second hand on on ebay. clearly some have had  the silver chipped or scratched,  and some other photos its really hard to tell how marked they are

Thought about a carbon wrap

Have spoken to local carbon wrapper, its another option. Its a question i need to know as well whether  they come to bits. Saw a photo somewhere of someone's painted vents, so guessing they do. Can't find the photo or who posted it, not sure if it was here or on facebook

Had not really thought about this till I washed the car yesterday ready for MOT.

Hadn't noticed mine are silver, but they are matt silver. I think they look ok, no problem with the sun.

Ended up taking them out, they do come apart so the frames can be easily sprayed. Get middle vents out was a right pain but got there in the end
