Connecting full electric seats without memory

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I've recently installed Full electric seats from Octavia MK1 into my VW Golf MK4.

There are 3 connectors total (2xpower/ground, memory, heating).

Since I don't have required comfort control unit, I couldn't connect the memory, so I've only connected 1x power and ground on red connector, and heating connector (as passenger's seat is connected).

But while passenger's seat is working without any problems, the driver's one is doing weird stuff. Buttons often move in more than 1 direction, and sometimes whole seat gets stuck, and buttons stop working at all, until I disconnect the power, and reconnect it back.

So my question is, if it is possible to somehow connect this seat without the memory functionality, so it works like the other one?
