I've just bought a Superb Greenline II S and I really like it.  Much better than the A4 that it replaced.  However the BOSE stereo in the Audi was definitely better sounding. 

 

Can anyone tell me if the number and type of speakers in the S spec are the same as the SE and Elegance?  I'm trying to work out whether I need to change the head unit or the speakers.  The sound quality in the rear seats is particularly bad!

 

Any help greatly appreciated - its the only thing I don't like about the car.

Have a fiddle with the audio settings if you haven't already. Depending on what way things are set at the moment it might help. I'm very pleased with the sound in my car with a Columbus head unit. I don't think I got the speaker upgrade, so I am probably running the same speakers.
