Fuel Pump Failure & 5 Times Replaced

Featured Replies

I need Argent Help

I have Octavia 2008 Model Petrol ,fuel Pump have been Replaced 5 Time during 18 months

This Problem Started when Engine make (cut off) in hot climate of Saudi Arabia (about 2 hours Heavy Use)

All Fuel Pumps Have been replaced By Skoda Local Agent in K.S.A. ,Using Genuine Parts.

They did not Discovered the Reason until Date.

Signs:-

Every Time Before Fuel Pump Pressure Become Weak I hear a Voice seams Like interval Pulses under Back Seat ,the Same Location of Fuel Pump, this Voice raise when I Stop the Car after about 2 hours working.

When I hear this Voice ,I Open the Fuel Tank Cover ,found too much vapor escape from the cap when just try to open

Means i have high pressure inside fuel Tank.

Some Body Say that is for One of 3 Reasons:-

1- Bad Fuel Grade ( that is Wrong because I am Using 95 octane petrol ,it is very pure in K.S.A. ).

2- Evaporation system for fuel Tank ( Canister Valve -Solenoid Valve-Evaluation Pipes)

They -(Local Agent) Safari Motors - do not Know any of this Information or where are these items Located in the Car.

3- Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve ,(where is it,s Location inside the Car) No Body Know from This Dam Agent Store.

Do Any Body has any Information May Help me.

First thing is it needs to be plugged into diagnostic system and the codes read, that will give an idea of what is going on with fuel pressures etc, and may point to an issue somewhere else. The fact that they have replaced it 5 times says to me that there is 100% a problem somewhere else in the system, be it high fuel pressure in the fuel rail, or an external contaminant in the fuel (have they tested the fuel in the tank for impurities?) either way there is something else causing your failures, it's not going to be the pump that is at fault, not after 5 of them on the same car, the odds are against it.

Is the fuel pressure regulation maybe done at the fuel filter, which is probably near to the tank under the car.  If the filter has two hose connections at one end, both going to the tank, and one at the other end, going forward to the engine bay, then the fuel pressure is being regulated there.

I think excessive blockage of the filter will put extra stress on the pump.

I'm not sure that yours will be like this, but this is the system I'm talking about:

They Connected my Car to Diagnostic System But No Indications found -that  was what they inform me

Regarding the Tank Cleaning they did

and the filter when replaced found has no Impurities inside.

I am thinking the fault not in fuel circle

It Maybe in Evapuration system to the tank

Question :Do the Canister Charcole Valve or Breath Valve ,or any of EVAP Sestem Failure .Can Cause High Pressure inside the Tank then after a period make Filure in Fuel Pump?

Is it Possible?
