Clogged rain drains

Featured Replies

Rain drains... one of the main reasons our cars rot from the inside...

If one would want to check if all drains for Felicia are not clogged, where should he look?

In other words, does anyone have a list of all of them? Maybe photos with their exact locations?

Here are the most common 23 areas the body rusts. Why is that and how those areas could be related to clogged drains?

The door bottoms have drains and the sills have drains either end apart from that none that I can think of. The rubberised underseal is a big part of the problem as it traps moisture into the seams.

How about the windshield area?

I've just found in ETKA catalog this illustration titled "Bungs, sealing strips".

Oh yeah forgot about the 2 small drains on the front and rear screens. The bungs in that pic are mostly covered over with the rubberised underseal and aren't "drains" as such. The tailgate goes rusty because the frame flexes against the window rubber and rubs the paint away, seen it on a few when we took windows out to change them for failed heating elements
