I have VCDS so plugged in as my 58 VRS TDI CR is showing glow plug light flashing and EML fault code is P2563 turbo actuator.

 

I believe there is a repair kit available is this simple to attempt myself and fit and does the turbo need to be removed?

 

Be helpful if there is a member or garage in Birmingham that can fix this for me.

The actuator can be fitted in place but it is tricky. There is also a set up procedure for it where you have to pull a vacuum on the actuator with a mitivac and read off a measured value on VCDS.
