Which RVC did you fit? It looks like you've tried to code a highline but I suspect you probably have a lowline.

 

Was it just a RVC or was there an extra control module?

It is the complete kit model number 36492-2 for harness kit,and model number for camera is 37830 rvc ampire kc802-ntsc-2g hope this helps regards oldtimer

That's definitely lowline.

 

You need to:

- Remove 6C-Back-up Cam from the installation list in 19-CAN Gateway.

- Recode 10-Park/Steer Assist, byte 0, bit 5 (should change from 100104 to 300104).

- Recode 37-Navigation, byte 3, bit 6 (which I think you've already done).

 

Then restart the columbus using the <, >, * (or mic) method.

 

Once that's done, clear any codes and lets see how it is.

For 10-Park/Steer Assist it looks like you've checked byte 0 bit 5 but unchecked bit 4? You need both checked for OPS and RVC to function which should give a lcode of 300104.

 

Might be worth grabbing a screen shot to make sure your module shares the same coding.

 

You've also changed 37-Navigation byte 0 for some reason? Check byte 0 bit 3 again to give a lcode of 04000442040400832000.

 

Then restart the Columbus using the method I posted earlier, clear all DTC's and lets see where we stand.

i'm guessing langer2k you've had your fill of my problem ?so have i so being me i've pulled all the loom out and put it back in it's box with the so call plug&play camera and bought a mirrow fit one worked first time not really it works but not when engine running but beside that one good thing came out of this went back in to coding so i could untick backup camera and untick that and auxilliary ops it took new code and now would you believe ops is back and in the bottom corner the symbol for camera  that's life

Had a few things on, surprised the park assist didn't take the code.

 

Sounds like the Columbus is now expecting a RVC fitted so showing the icon- to remove it you'll need to uncheck 37-Navigation, byte 3, bit 6. Assuming you get your cable working
