Paint code for monte carlo

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking for the paint code for my Monte Carlo , I'm looking for the black trim paint code not the main red.

I'm led to believe it's black magic but it has a metallic flake in it?

Thanks

Codes are found in the boot, on a sticker beside the spare tyre. Hopefully it'll have both codes on there.

The stickers not there :(

Not in the Spare Tyre Well?

What about the Service Manual. have you got one? Front Page.

Black Magic,

but not the Solid Gloss Black, but with Metallic.

If it is indeed Black Magic, then that's paint code 9910.

It's a pearl effect paint though, so it has quite a few variations - varies despite the same paint code. Sometimes it'll have more silver flakes, other times more gold flake content.

How many shades of black did the Monte Carlo come in?

I thought it was just black magic.

For me, it was more the fact the OP seems to want to know about trim paint codes, not the main body colour.

Black Magic (Solid) as was

Black Magic Pearl. (glitter)

Black Magic on a Skoda has never been solid, as far as I'm aware?

My 2004 Fabia vRS Mk1 used Black Magic pearl, code 9910.

Sorry i can not comment on what you know or what has been produced using which Code or name.

What i can say is i have sprayed Roofs, Mirrors, and Monte Carlo Trims, and also repaired a Black Mk2 vRS Fabia,

and i have Black Magic Solid and Black Magic Pearl marked on the tins. (cant check now because not near the cupboard.)

Ordered from the various codes.  These include.

9910, 1Z, C9Z, Z4, F9R, L991

Wow. OK then.
