Passenger window is intermittent

Featured Replies

Since I bought my Fabia the passenger side window has been causing trouble.

The passenger switch doesn't work at all, but it will sort of work from the drivers switch, it can go jumpy and work on and off and has been known to go down and not want to come back up!

I checked the wires in the door today and found two snapped, repaired and checked both of them but didn't fix my issue sadly.

I then moved to the passenger side which is all fine but removed the switch, the connections were bad, a little green around them so cleaned it all up, put it back together and... Still nothing

So I've spent the last few hours messing around to achieve nothing!

It's a 2011 Elegance if it matters

check the comfort ecu under the passenger foot well just in front of the seat, mine was full of water, that stopped mine from working they worked after a little drying

Huh... Didn't know it was located there.

I've had the full interior out and can't say I noticed!

Will check tomorrow though, thanks.

Well I guess repairing the wire and replacing the passenger switch has solved everything :)
