Erratic Idle Issues

Hi,

I currently have a 07 Fabia II 1.2 that has developed an issue of idling erratically. This problem only occurs sometimes when driving but now recently my fuel consumption seems to have gone through the roof. I have taken the car to two different mechanics, one replaced the Idle Air Control Valve the other reset the Throttle Position Sensor (I think) and cleaned the throttle body. Neither of these helped the condition any with it still happening intermittently. Once it does happen though giving the accelerator a quick tap to get it above about 1000RPM seems to make it stop until the next time it decides to happen.

I caught a quick video of it happening a few days ago when I pulled up to my house.

 

 
I have read in other threads on here that this could be caused by the MAP sensor being dirty or just plain busted, could this be the issue here?

Any help you guys could give me would be great as this issue is starting to get on my nerves.
