Yes the bodyshell is galvanised as far as I know.

Stone chips wise suffers on the bonnet and wings but not any different to any modern car in its price range.

The brochure says "10-year anti-perforation warranty". This means it's guaranteed against corrosion originating from the inside, such as from the box sections. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that VW and Audi have a 12-year bodywork warranty (that extra few microns of zinc coating must cost a fortune!).
