Osram Silverstars I got from Crazy skins on Ebay for

thats 32 quid for bulbs are they really that good?

Yep - the difference is VERY noticable (and that's with the legal lights, let alone with the ralley bulbs ;))

I'm going with H7 superstarts and 30% H3 when funds allow just hope they are OK on Projection lamps

Either the Phillips Vision + or the Osram Silver Stars for dipped.

Phillips Rallye bulbs for main

Devonutopia posted piccies of his with that combo

The SilverStars and Rallye bulbs are fine on the Mondy's projection headlamps :D

Has anybody ever tried or used the PIAA Platinum White headlamp bulbs on H3's,as it say's they draw 55w but produce 85w and also 'E' rated may be a useful compromise between standard and fitting relays etc to run 100w's. As i'm going to the autosport show on saturday may have alook if there are any bargins going!

A lot of biking mates use Philips GT 150's, i might give them a try in the vRS.

What ybout those with xsenons? I understand that Fabia has only dipped xsenons. So what bulb should I buy for main beam to give the best result?

the 100w rallye bulbs

Someone on here posted that 100 watters will damage an o ring ir seal in the HID headlight shell.

Still thinking about dual HID. Any thoughts?

Chris

rodpix, I have. They are expensive (twice the price of the Osram and Phillips ones. You'd be pushed to notice the difference.

I've been using 100w ones in my one with Xenons for the last 90k miles - my seals are fine.
