Armrest fittings

Featured Replies

Hi there.

Anyone know what size bolts I need to attach an OEM armrest to my Fabia?

What part, the brackets under the center console or the arm rest to the bracket?

i've used a standard 13mm bolt on a previous build, threads are the same.

The bracket under the centre console.

I got it from a breaker but he didn't keep the bolts.

Also, is there any particular length?

Cant say i've pulled that much of the car to bits to find out, tried looking on etka and can find the arm rest but no bolts.

I think they're M8 and around 20mm long. However, without checking i couldn't be confident on it.

Hopefully somebody will be about soon that can remember!

Just about to fit one to mine, so I'll check in the morning for you

Don't recognise the size, sorry. Not come across this type on a VAG before.

Look to be Torx, maybe T20. I didn't have a driver that size, but a flat driver of the correct size across the head did the trick.

Looks like M6 actually.

Maybe, but the M sizing relates to the bolt diameter and thread spacing, rather than the head type.
