Following on from my armrest handbrake binnacle removal post it led onto tailgate leak problem.I now have tailgate lock problem (which fortunately l have already removed the plastic trim for the leak) as the lock would not open on the handle.The grey plastic clip on the linkage has broken and l can only open it by manually pushing down the link lever after removing the dog guard & rear boot cover and clambering into the boot area ,what fun! Looking at some bodge so l can open the tailgate ! I don't think l will get a replacement clip before the show.

Sorted temporarily with a tie wrap!
