Whiteline RARB - any additions?

Featured Replies

Hey all

My RARB has turned up and awaiting to be fitted and I'm thinking of having the alignment done as well as it's not been done for some time.

However, I'm unsure as to whether I should make consideration for any other subtle mods prior to alignment so I'm not having to do it again.

I see a few people have mentioned console or poly bushes ect but must admit, am uneducated in this area and usure how far to go, or if just a RARB for standard driving with the occassional B road blast is necessary.

What are your thoughts and if in my shoes, would you have anything else done to compliment a new RARB?

I know the car looks a little weird at it's factory lowered height and am not keen on dropping her as knowing my luck, would catch the front splitter or damage it. How do people get on with that btw?

Again, any advice and experience would be most welcome.

Thanks.

I have the Whiteline antiroll bar fitted to mine, I also fitted the Powerflex "Handling" pack, which included the console bushes.

Most people seem to recommend uprating these console bushes, you can buy them as part of an anti lift kit from the likes of Poweflex/ Superpro/ Whiteline for around £130-160.

I would also say that the lower engine torque mount bush is highly recommended- I noticed a big change from this alone.

Neither of these "have" to be done at the same time as the ARB but to me it makes sense to have it done all in one fell swoop.

I have no real opinion on splitters, but am looking into getting a Rhinolip one soon as they are flexible and should allow for any speed bump mishaps etc
