I have a 10 plate Skoda Fabia Estate. I'm unable to open the drivers side door from the inside using either the interior handle or the button on the center console. The door opens fine from the outside so I'm having to open the window to pull the exterior handle.

 

This has only come about since the kids were messing about in the car. All other doors seem fine. Could they have activated something (although I can't see why you would want a feature to disable the drivers door from the inside)? Is there anything else I can check?

 

Needless to say, I'm blaming the kids for this!

possible just the cable came away from the door handle on the inside.

Can you feel it pulling the latch like usual?

It feels OK. I'll double check it against the passenger door again just to be sure.

OK, I checked this again and there doesn't seem to be the same kind of resistance on the drivers side. I'll see if I can find a tutorial on removing the latch/panel.

It's easy enough, just be brave with the pop clips, a lot of them smash when you pull the door card off.
