VRS may have to part

Featured Replies

This week could be a sad one when I'm told I am unable to drive any longer on medical grounds. If temporary (months) then I'll keep. The lease is due up end of next May. If permanently then it's on to another owner.

It's a Rallye Green VRS Estate mk2 TSi dsg black pack 14 reg I'm considering the various option, return, sell to dealer pay outstanding lease off, private sale. My wife has never and will never drive it, too big. Her car (seat) may then turn into a Rapid sports back I'm told.

The added bit is the number plate is TS?? vRs. It was base dvla cost at time. Wonder if that will increase resale.

Golly, that sounds like you're waiting on a bit of a game changer.  Hope it's the temporary option for you.

Could be, vision to my right of both eyes went totaly. But vision on my left was filling what it though it saw. Hence hitting posts and walls(me not car). Though I was driving.had opp. As u say waiting. THINK I can see but...

Really feel for you decuk, hope it's a temporary thing. All the best for what decision you will make.

This sounds quite sad.

Because of the cost of the car, and potential life change, is it worth paying for a private medical specialist to give you a more detailed prognosis as they might offer treatment that is not available locally.
