MY17 Yeti comfort turn signals

Tried to change comfort turn signals to 5

Selected Cent Elect-09 / Adaptation-10 and from drop box selected "comfort turn signals".

Changed this from 3 to 5 using up/down buttons then saved it, confirmed saving to 5 blinks. DID NOT WORK.

I went into Maxidot and did a factory reset in the Lights and Vision section. DID NOT WORK.

I went back into VCDS program and checked it, 5 was the default blinks in channel 31.

Tried it on the road just to make sure.

So it should be flashing 5 times according to the VCDS but it's still 3, anyone any ideas

well, i just done the same thing and not working on Superb 3 also.  i will try 4 and ifnot working go back to 3. also.  Maybe something we are missing to activate or additional coding.

I have tried 4 and that didn't work either so I set them back to 3. I have been through other VCDS routes but the only way to the "Comfort turn signals" is via the way I set out in my first post.

I just made it work. You need to do factory reset on infotainment system after coding. Works well with 5 blinks. Maybe yours is MY17 that's why?. Mine is MY16. Should be same. Give it another try

By infotainment do you mean the Bolero, I tried the maxidot MFD reset already.

Yes I reset on bolero

OK, I did a factory reset on the Bolero, and guess what ! It didn't work, so it looks as though there must be something different on an MY17 Yeti.

I have the patience of a fisherman, so I will persist until I crack it.

Good luck, and you can maybe email Ross Tech if they know anything. MY17 might have something different.

I did it on mine and had exactly the same results, VCDS saying 5 blinks but car doing 3 blinks, I had to do a factory reset in the maxidot in order to make the change work but as a consequence I lost the ability to turn the comfort signals off in the maxidot.

I am a registered VCDS user of the Ross-Tech forum, they've been trying to sort it out, but to no avail.

I'm finding that a LOT of changes via VCDS are no longer working on 2016+ vehicles.

When using ODIS it not only codes control modules it also requires online access to calibrate and parameterise to allow for the changes.

Maybe these background changes are what's not happening with VCDS and not allowing the changes to take place.
