Not sure if AUX is working

Featured Replies

I have recently bought a 2007 Fabia II, I'm not sure if it's Bluetooth enabled so I invested in a Bluetooth receiver which plugs into what was the cigarette lighter and the AUX point. I can pair the phone to the receiver but it won't work via the radio. I'm assuming and was told as long as I use a AUX lead it will work with the radio, but I have nothing. When I make a call my phone calls that person but I can't hear anything, I take the Bluetooth off and I can hear it on the mobile speaker. I'm not sure if I make sense, but I could really really do with some help please :-)

Have you tried plugging something else into the aux to try and narrow down whether the issue is the aux or the BT device?

If you have an mp3 player try that in the aux. It should of course play through the speakers. I think you have to select aux in the radio on screen menu. It may be you have to do that with your phone device too. Not sure!
