Car went into limp mode yesterday morning P012B

Featured Replies

Hi chaps/chapetts, was driving to work yesterday and within 2 miles of the journey I pulled out of a junction and had no power the car wouldn't go past 3k rpm, got to work safely and drove home later on in the day. Plugged my VCDS, scanned and a fault came up.

P012B - turbocharger/supercharger inlet pressure sensor circuit range

I cleared the faults and the car was back to normal but recently (past month) I've heard quite a noticeable noise when I tap the accelerator when setting off in any manor, it's almost like a high pitched click.

I'm off down Somerset next Friday so I could do with getting it booked in if its a big job, I have extended warranty so that shouldn't be a problem (fingers crossed) but if it's something small like changing a sensor then I'd rather do it myself.

Has anyone has this pop up before?
