Hi -

Used the Forum to answer a few questions about my superannuated Octy Mk1s a few times and found the workshop that looks after my cars, Unit 18 in Milton Keynes via these pages - and top notch they are too.

I have two 1.9 TDis, both 51 plate, one with 286k on the clock (at time of writing, very sick - needs new head gasket) and one with 127k on the clock, going strong but with a mild malady about which I've posted in the relevant forum.

I'm a bicycle mechanic by trade with 35 years plus experience, so anyone with a bicycle-type query here, please get in touch, be happy to return the many favours this forum has done me over the years ...
