MkIII Gemini Wheels on a MkII ?!

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

It's so hard to find anything Skoda here in New Zealand! :( Took me years to get my Mk2!

Never the less i got my hands on some 18" geminis off a Mk3 RS.

Thoughts?

They look amazing but I'm struggling with the ride on 17" wheels without switching up to 18" but that's my personal feelings as I'm so used to the ride of Citroen Xantias and the original C5

That looks better than I thought it would.  Wheels can make or ruin the look of a car but I think that you made a good choice there.  All you need to do now is lower the car! :notme:

They look nice what is the offset  is it the same as a mk2 18inch zenith , as all the mk3s i have seen with the 18s the wheels seem to be tucked inside the arches and look as if they need spacers to fill the arches,

Great wheels, did this on my mk2 about 2 years ago

They look great. Seen Eddie-NL's in the flesh and it looked brilliant with them fitted!

They look really nice! Mind the whole looks very nice indeed!

This really bugs me especially as the official photos show the wheels filling the arches perfectly.

Spacers would solve this but they shouldn't be needed in the first place.  Surely Skoda can spec the wheels correctly so that the car we buy looks like the one in the photos?

Anyway, back to the point.  The Geminis look really good and have got me thinking now.  I have a set of 18" Zeniths in the garage awaiting to be refurbed but the Geminis look quite good.  Hmm, maybe I will change my plans now.....
