Mk1 Fabia vRS for sale or swap

Featured Replies

I'm putting my car up for sale or swap because I've got the itch for another Octavia vRS. I thought I'd quashed the urge after spending a good chunk of money on it but I just can't help myself...I have to have another!

So, my Fabia

2003 53 plate vRS

Just approaching 105k with history and invoices

3 week old FK coilvers

17" Octavia Spiders with 4 new tyres

Backbox delete to a 6x4" muffled oval tailpipe (fitted after pics were taken)

C2 stubby aerial

Team Heko wind deflectors

2010 Seat Ibiza Sport interior (very comfy and supportive)

Grille wrapped in 3M gloss black

New style 80mm badges front and rear (rear one been changed since pics were taken)

Centre console cup holder installed to replace ashtray

Blacksmoke 180 remap

JVC CD player

The car goes and stops well, mechanically it is fantastic I know I could jump in it and drive anywhere I wanted and get there with no issues. I quite often drive over to France and Bruges and the couple of times I have been over in this it has performed superbly returning excellent mpg. The bodywork is that of a 13 year old car, there are marks around the car there is lacquer peel on the front bumper etc. The tailgate has bubbled near the number plate lights but you dont see this unless you bend down to look or have the boot open...and even then it's not too bad as I have touched a lot of it up to hide it. The only 'mechanical' issue is the EML is on with a code for 'Coolant temp sensor circuit too high'. I had the temp sensor replaced on Tuesday at a cost of £78 with a genuine sensor, however, the EML is still on even after clearing and the temp gauge goes down when you accelerate. It doesn't bother me as the car doesn't run any different and still performs as it should.

I'm reluctant to let this go for silly money as to me it's worth what I'm asking purely for the low mileage and the reliability. I bought the car completely standard so everything that has been done (apart from the JVC CD player) was done at my expense by a garage.

I'm in Lincoln, my number is 07477604391 for any seriously interested parties.

Is this still available ?

Hello, yes it is. Although the temp gauge still has a mind of its own, think it requires a thermostat to be honest.
