Slightly Confused about this.

 

I have a 2006 Skoda Octavia L&K.

 

When i activate my front windscreen wipers these work, when i go to use the washers they don't work, however my washer for lights sometimes work.

 

My rear windscreen wiper and washer do not work when activated so am confused as to why the front wipers work but nothing else does apart from the lights washer.

 

When i pull the stick for front washer to work, i can't even hear a spraying noise as if it was attempting to work. The water tank does have water in as well btw lol

I had an issue with rear washer not working. Opened the fuse cover (drivers side end of dash) and noticed several fuses looking crooked in their holders. Push them all in square and the washer started working ok.

I wonder if knocks and vibrations jiggle those fuses out.

It's either the pump has gone or a fuse or wiring.

 

The rear washer is a very common failure on these so if that's not working it likely needs replacing.

The headlight washers only work every (approx.) 5 pulls of the front windscreen washers.

 

And the headlights need to be turned on.

Headlight washers are not on the same circuit as your windscreen washer

 

as said above it could be the pump, fuse or the relay
