Anyone know if the Weichers strut brace is any good? 

 

Can't find any alternative strut braces around.

Someone hopefully will have experience of them.

I've fitted a few before including on my own cars and fitment can be, erm, interesting...

What are you expecting to achieve? In normal road going mode - you will not notice any difference whatsoever.

 

In a rally car situation - it is there to prevent side to side compression between the struts in a collision/damage situation, and enable a badly damaged car to limp back to staging post. It also does prevent damage to components within the engine compartment to a degree.

It's not worth it for me as I won't be using it for rallying lol!

I fitted the front upper & lower and the rear upper to my stripped out arosa a few years back. Bad quality, especially the finish on the welds, the main bars also had high raised metal spots. I sanded mine down and repainted buy the welds still showed the poor quality. Then the fit! They was not as easy or as good a fit as a Momo or sparco type I've fitted in the past. What doesn't help is they don't / didn't have a customer service team to speak to directly, just the distributor. Hopefully they've got better. Good luck either way.
