Anyone help a bit more urgently (only as I've bonnet open!) about coil packs and viewing a plug

Coil pack removal

I'm teased to look to see if one of my plugs can be checked for condition at 50K - ever been replaced etc?

Unbolting the coil pack and removing connections easy. But it seems resistant to pulling, as if its stuck on the plug ? The plastic/rubbery part under the pack just feels like its stretching and stretching !

Is it okay to keep pulling ? Its like elastic and not sure if its going to "give" if that makes sense. Probably, but I'm erring on caution as the procedure may be different from the "R" !

Would be rude not to get it out now...I've got one coil pack ready to pull out and just want a look at the plug, see if dealers ever changed ( I know it wasn't on last service I had)

MIght be cos its from cold. Think I'll leave it tonight and reassemble for now.

Yep, they're all like that Sir :D

They're designed to be tight so that they have a good connection to the plug head - also, if they've never been removed before there may be a little corrosion and gunk making it appear even more stuck.

Seriously, you just need to show it who's boss - if I come across a sticky one then I often get a large flat-bladed screwdriver under them and lever it off. It will come off with a 'pop'!
