Cruise control for my 4x4 problem

Hi all well had my Cruise working  for all of 3 days  and now i just dunno whats wrong with it

i took it apart as advised on the forum and cleaned all the parts dint help i checked my brake lights all working on checked fuses all ok

i did read some thing about a Clutch Switch but ive looked and cant find one on my  car

any thing eles i need to check ??

or shuld i just buy another stalk and do it all over my stalk i brought was second hand  but it dint say that on the sale

They sergested i get it re coded is it possable its un coded its self ??

More likely, it's the connection between the wired miniature plug and the mini circuit board inside the stalk.

 

I put some solder on these contact points on the circuit board (the original solder is very thin) on both sides and my cruise has worked for ages since doing this, only letting me down once in the past few years.

Even then I just unplugged the circuit board from the connection plug, plugged back in and it has been working ever since.

Hi all just a update re my cruise control  i asked my suplier to send me another new stalk after a small chat he was willing to do this for just the postage of 5 pounds i fitted new stalk this weekend and  bam it all works again very strange as the other stalk was new too yet failed

 

so happy bunny now cruise retro fit all working
