Central locking

Featured Replies

After I fitted a new part in the lock the passenger door now locks from the outside with the key & from the inside when the pin is pushed down. It won't lock or unlock when I turn the key in the driver's side. I noticed that there is an actuator in the passenger side should there also be one in the driver's door? What tells the actuator in the passenger door to move? Thanks

Took driver's side door card off tonight, there is an actuator there but not connected due to a broken plastic part. Are these available or has anyone got a spare? Thanks

The actuator seems to be a bit stiff & knotchy, maybe it's why the plastic part broke! Is it worth me replacing the actuator, replacing the battery in the key then figuring out why the signal isn't going from one door to the other or should I just buy a remote kit off eBay?
